Ancient renovated farmhouse in the countryside of Ostuni

Surrounded by luxuriant Apulian olive groves, in the countryside around Ostuni, a charming fortified tower farmhouse that has been renovated preserving its ancient flavour. The central building stands on the large hypogean oil mill excavated in the rock and still well preserved, adjacent to an ancient chapel with frescoes. The ground floor of the dwelling offers three large rooms with windows overlooking the garden and inner courtyard. On the upper floor are five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, living room and kitchen with direct access to the large level terrace from which one can enjoy the sea view. Not far away is the fenced citrus grove with the old stables that have been recently renovated and divided into six rooms with en-suite bathroom and covered veranda.The property land, mainly olive groves, extends for about 30 hectares. Inside, there is a ravine with man-made caves dug into the rock and formerly used to shelter animals or the shepherds themselves. The context in which Masseria is located is that of old renovated masserias, only ten minutes by car from the centre of Ostuni.
