Elevated on a green hill in the province of Messina, this sophisticated and exclusive architecture dominates the surrounding space, integrating totally with the naturalistic environment that surrounds it. It is the result of a complex and innovative project, the villa with its converging and inverted pitched roof seems to integrate itself with the elements of nature that cross it in all its parts: the air, the vital breath that envelops it in a whirlwind of sensations and perfumes; water, the source of life that flows fluidly in its environments, spreading its energy; fire, power of his soul and strength of his strong personality; the earth, mother who welcomes and nourishes it, making it the protagonist. The architecture designed by the well-known international studio UFO - Urban Future Organization, has received numerous awards and it has been published in important magazines. In 2007 it was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe prize, one of the only Sicilian architectures finalist for the prestigious award. It is divided in several levels and it is characterized by its superimposed volumes; it revolves around a double-height central space where the living room is distributed with its elegant sofas that make the environment enveloping and elegant. Along the sides of the building the ramps wind sinuously up to the roof that opens onto the solarium. On the two wings of the building, at the first floor there is the modern "Boffi" steel kitchen, along with the dining area, while at the second floor there is the sleeping area consisting of a bedroom with walk-in closet and elegant en suite bathroom. There are also two other bedrooms with additional bathrooms all designed by Antonio Lupi. The top is wrapped in the continuous surface of a wooden brise-soleil, a refined and elegant solution that protects it from excessive sunshine, keeping the internal temperature lower by at least 5/6 degrees in the warm months. The designer furniture belongs to designer names such as Porro, Cassina, Cappellini, as well as the lighting by Flos, Artemide and Guzzini. Coverings and doors are in wenge-stained oak, like the parquet that covers the floor of the whole house. Next to the fireplace, the rain slides along the high windows open to the sky. The rooms follow one another light and harmonious, surrounded by large windows that let the enchanting and disarming spectacle of the sky and the sea penetrate, with its colors and its superb uniqueness. The wide windows overlook the adjacent and surrounding space consisting of the garden of approx. 3300 square meters where it is located a swimming pool where the water flows through two different levels, recalling the soft motion of the waves. The house extends over a large area divided into functional environments: relaxation room with video projector, living room and study, laundry room, bathroom with sauna, closets and garage. The structure is a mixture of elegance, colors, design and functionality. It includes the five-hectare farm with 4,500 fruit trees, and the Aeolian-style house, consisting of a kitchen-living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a patio overlooking the valley and the sea. In addition, the construction of a heliport is planned to make connections to the Aeolian Islands and the airports in Catania and Palermo, which are 85 and 232 km away, respectively.
