Charming penthouse, exclusive for its magnificent 90 sqm terrace with amazing views ranging from the Basilica of San Pietro al Quirinale passing through the Pantheon and the iconic domes of the most famous churches in Rome. We are located in the eighteenth-century building "Centini Toni", characterized by elegant low reliefs and rich decorations, a master staircase with a vaulted ceiling and ancient mosaics. The location is excellent, a few steps from the Spanish Steps, Trinità dei Monti and Villa Borghese. Upon entering we are immediately greeted by the living room, which opens directly onto the terrace which, being at the same level, gives a feeling of continuity between the inside and the outside. The kitchen is separate and has space for all appliances. The design staircase on the right side, the different heights of the ceilings, the wooden floors and the incredible brightness characterize its charm. Going down a few stairs we reach the master bedroom, which due to its position enjoys great privacy and has an en-suite bathroom. Going up from the living room to the upper floor, we find the two bedrooms opening onto the balcony and a second bathroom. Air conditioning, large mezzanine, beamed ceilings, lift and concierge service complete the property.
The eighteenth century Palazzo Centini Toni, originally owned by the architect Tommaso Mattei, was later purchased by Count Felice Centini and renovated for him, between 1722 and 1742, by Francesco Rosa. The ownership and the renovation of the building, which took place in 1886, are notified in a plaque on the ground floor. The palace was popularly renamed "Palazzo dei Pupazzi", due to the rich and curious stucco decoration, which on the first floor takes the form of caryatids, shells and jutting female heads.
- The toponym "ad capita domorum" indicated, up to the 15th century, the end of the inhabited part of the city and the beginning of the campaign.
In Via Capo le Case have lived, throughout history, many artists.
