Ancient Medieval Castle on the heights of Ghiffa. Medieval castle built by the Marquis Morigia in the 15th century and enriched by the architect Pirovano. The castle has coffered ceilings and frescoed walls, rich in inlaid wood furnishings, surrounded by a large centuries-old park, an oasis of peace and serenity where you can relax while enjoying the fabulous panorama overlooking the waters of Lake Maggiore. The castle has 5 double bedrooms each with private bathroom.
Inside the park we find ancient statues, a tennis court, an infinity pool, an outbuilding, now the caretaker's home.
At one time the castle was used as a prestigious hotel with 15 rooms each with private bathroom, as well as a restaurant.
