Public Auction of Domus mercatorum and Bresciani House in Verona

The Domus mercatorum is located in Verona, in Piazza Erbe just in front of the Palazzo della Ragione with the Lamberti’s Tower. It represents one of the most characteristic buildings of the old city. The building was the former merchant’s guild headquarter and it dates back to Dante’s time, the XIV century during the lordship of Alberto I della Scala. In 1803 it became the headquarter of the actual Chamber of Commerce.

This is a public auction experiment with secret offers and subsequent auction phase (minimum bid increasing by €50,000.00), in relation to the following lots, and according to this order:

• Lot A (Domus mercatorum), full ownership of public office, starting price euro 7,000,000.00 (charges not included);
• Lot B (Casa Bresciani), full ownership of public office and home, starting price euro 3,300,000.00 (charges not included);
• Lot C (Domus mercatorum and Casa Bresciani) full ownership of public offices and home, starting price €10,300,000.00 (charges not included).
