An Italian-American, born in Beirut, with a strong international multicultural background having lived in several countries such as: Lebanon, Libya, U.S.A., Greece, Switzerland and Italy. Bachelor in Business Administration at John Cabot University, he began his career in marketing and then as a sales manager with two multinational pharmaceutical companies for over 12 years. His next experience was in the luxury yacht brokerage field, as a partner of a company operating within Italy, with exclusive distribution rights, for an Italian and U.S. brand. After six years later, he began working in the Real Estate industry, where he specialized in strategic property and facility management for financial institutions and a fund. From 2005, he became a managing partner of a Real Estate agency in Sardegna, managing the development and growth of the international clientele and promoting the Costa Smeralda luxury product in foreign markets. From June 2017, he entered Italy - Sotheby's International Realty, Porto Cervo office, as Client Advisor and responsible for top foreign clients.
After different work experiences and almost 20 years abroad, Barbara discovers and falls in love with the real estate world in 2011 in Rome. She joins Sotheby’s International Realty’s in 2018 attracted by its fast-paced, sophisticated and multi-faceted environment. She enjoys the human aspect of building relationship with her customers and thrives in the challenges that each transaction brings. After a Bachelor Degree in German and Ancient Greek at UCL London, and a training period at the EEC in Bruxelles, she works as stock broker for Prudential Bache Securities and UBS Securities in Bruxelles and New York. She moves on to work as an Investor Relation Manager for an OTC company in NYC and for a NYSE. Flexibility, problem solving, negotiating skills, working under pressure, undivided attention to customer’s needs are some of the skills that Barbara brings in from her background. As member of our Sotheby’’s International Realty Team, she was awarded last year as one of the top 3 agents in Italy, being always available, enthusiastic and eager to work.
Luigi Aliverti was born and raised in Como, has gained experience over the years that allow him to offer a reliable and discreet service to the most demanding customers. The registration to the Professional Role and knowledge of the city and area surrounding Lake Como, the English and French language allow him to offer help in finding the right property and advice on technical and legal issues also to an international clientele. A degree in Communication Science, Diego Antinolo is a professional realtor. After living in different countries, he now resides in Lake Como. After working in advertising and television, Diego applied his expertise and capabilities in the marketing of real estate developments, before moving to the brokerage and advisory activities for a range of clientele that demands the utmost professionalism, experience and confidentiality. Originally from Puglia, Francesco after a degree in Law and a master in Business Communication, moved to England, where in addition to perfecting the language, he enriched his professional background in the field of logistics. Back in Italy and settled in Lucca, he established himself in the Real Rstate brokerage field, where he now has 15 years of experience especially with international clients. His professional leitmotiv is Cecelia Ahern's saying "Home is not a place, it's a feeling".
