This unique Venetian villa sits on top of a hill, on a raised embankment and has impressive 360° views over the surrounding countryside and Alps. This makes it truly remarkable as most properties in the area are located on the plains. The villa was commissioned by the Bassano's nobleman Antonio Negri Miazzi to the Architect Antonio Gaidon (1738-1829) and completed in 1763. The facade, crowned by a triangular pediment surmounted by statues, enhances the iconographic aspect of the property. The villa faces southwards and has a strikingly lavish entrance. The Villa (1750 sqmt) consists of a main building that spreads over three floors and has two lower wings (Barchesse), plus two tower-style constructions on each side. It features a large and elegant reception hall , a library and other reception and entertaining areas which are all beautifully decorated with stuccos. The 17 hectare park that surrounds the Villa is outstanding for its one of a kind elegant outside stairs that give the entire property a stately and majestic feeling. The two outbuildings on each side of the main villa create the perception of 2 adjacent "towers". There are also two independent guesthouses at the back of the grounds. One is used as the caretaker's house and the other is used as a laundry facility. The property also includes a small unconsecrated chapel, which could easily be transformed into a media room. All amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacies and small local stores are at walking distance. This is the ideal venue to discover some of Italy's most beautiful cities. The property is well connected to both the International airports of Treviso and Venice (1 hr) and it is an easy day trip to Verona, Vicenza, Lake Garda, while the spectacular Dolomites with Cortina are just a 1.5 hour drive away.
