A short distance from the center of the wonderful city of Ferrara, historically known for being the first of the most important of the Italian Renaissance, European capital of culture, art, politics and gastronomy, cradle of the Este dynasty and the whose Renaissance heritage has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. This splendid property, full of charm and centuries-old history, lending itself to being used both as a private residence and as a representative office for companies or for the development of businesses such as hotels and event organizations. Consisting of a wonderful manor house of over 1000 square meters on two floors plus an attic. The villa, which also hosted the writer Giorgio Bassani and was the set of the timeless film "The Garden of the Finzi-Continis" by Vittorio De Sica, architecturally recalls some of the most beautiful Venetian villas, frescoed in the reception rooms and in many of the common areas. It seems to have been designed by a Ferrarese architect, brother of the more famous portrait painter Giovanni Boldini. Equipped with a lift, this magnificent building needs restoration work, as do the other buildings surrounding the manor house. The other buildings may be reconverted to residential use, and extend over a total area of 400 square meters (a charming former stable) and about 350 square meters, totaling a surface area of 1800mq.The property is surrounded by a park of about 3 hectares in which there is a large swimming pool, a tennis court, an ancient oven, and a warehouse. The distance from this property to the sea is about 50 km, Milan is about 250 km, Bologna about 48 km.
