Ancient Castle in Trentino

This wonderful castle is located between Trento and Lake Garda, in a place renowned for its thermae and known as a holiday destination. The castle is 600 m a.s.l, it is an oasis of peace surrounded by a pristine landscape, it rises on a hill dominating the valley with a rich and thriving nature. Just a visit to Castel Spine means living a unique experience, a dive into history, a magic atmosphere inviting to close your eyes and imagine the verses of Ariosto who spoke " Of Dames, Of Knights, of armes, of loues delight, of cortesies, of high attempts". The bastion on the southwest corner of the walls of the original complex of Castel Spine (dated around 1330) was completely renovated and welcomes the socalled "casa colonica" equipped with every comfort. On the ground floor there is a wide eat-in kitchen (with wood stove), one bathroom, one study and one big living room with chimney serving both dining room and living room. On the first floor there are one master bedroom, one spacious bathroom with jacuzzi and shower, a living room with pool ta-ble and mezzanine. From the wide terrace it is possible to enjoy the stunning view on the valley. The second floor consists of an independent attic, which is to be considered a separated apartment since it possible to enter from the panoramic terrace (that can be reached thank to a stone staircase). The property has a base-ment floor divided into two parts. Half of the first part is used as cellar and the other half as kitchen. The second part has been turned into a salon with hunting trophies. Oudoor, among the ruins has been created a beautiful garden with palnts and covered dining room. A forecourt with river pebbles provides access to the house and the ruins. The structure includes a big outdoor parking place for 12 cars and a prefabricated home. The whole hill of the castle and the adjacent wood complete the property.
