Authentic, and perhaps unique, example of Alpine rural architecture, both for position and structure. Located in Serdes, charming town of the municipality of San Vito di Cadore, on the right bank of the Boite torrent, high up on the slopes of Monte Pelmo, ideal heritage of humanity under the auspices of Unesco, in an area of absolutely intact nature.
Inside wood is the undisputed king: very unique are the intersections of the beams that raise, lower or even the ceilings; amazingly beautiful squared beams that serve as pillars to the walls or roundish ones that form the structure of the roof! the wooden part, comprising the first floor-second and third, date back to 1600's as documented by the etching on one of the roof beams. It is a unique example of the finest past architectural skills.
