A fairytale-style, irregular-plan castle with an embattled tower, built on a Bavarian neo-Gothic architecture pattern emulating the Schloss Neuschwanstein (Ludwig's castles) and inaugurated in 1890 after half a century of works. One of its kind, of these privately-held castles there are very few remaining, and all are included in the European artistic heritage.
The castle, imposing with its façade tripartite by decorative strips in terracotta, is spread over a total of 1,300 square meters: 3 floors above ground and a tower, is sold together with its valuable antique furniture. It is surrounded by a park full of secular plants spreading over about 5 hectares of land. The property is completed by an annex that once welcomed the greenhouse and the stables and is spread over 2 floors; it is currently used as the caretaker's home. The eclectic architectonic typology of this property represents a unicum in the Romagna territory, beautifully immersed in the green vineyards. It can fulfill a residential or receptive use because it enjoys a magnificent position on a hill, although it is only 20 km far from the beach of Milano Marittima and Cervia. The castle needs renovation works.
