Maisonette in a charming historic building in the heart of the ancient Borgo Piave, in Belluno.
Palazzo Doglioni is located in the heart of the ancient Borgo Piave, in Belluno, was popularly nicknamed the "Botegon", or tavern, by the workers who gravitated around the village. The city of Belluno, natural gateway to the Dolomites, has always been in a strategic position given the equal proximity between the sea and the mountains. The building, which belonged to the noble Doglioni family, stands out compared to other neighbouring houses both for the compactness of its size and for its sixteenth-century architectural features. The plant is in fact very old, at least fifteenth century, but expands and takes on its current elegant appearance between the end of the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. The restoration of the building was carried out under the control of the Superintendence of Venice.
