This area occupies the southern part of Sardinia and borders: to the south with the metropolitan city of Cagliari; to the north-east with the province of Nuoro and to the north-west with the province of Oristano.
The true splendor of Southern Sardinia is undoubtedly the coast: dream beaches and a sea that recalls that of the most remote tropical paradises.
To the south, from the splendid islands of San Pietro and Sant'Antioco, up to Porto Corallo, on the opposite coast, there are beaches with a tropical soul, colors and cultural riches that make southern Sardinia one of the favorite stops for international tourism.
Carloforte, the most important center of the Island of San Pietro, welcomes you to its village, where every year a festival of lights and events explodes. Beaches of breathtaking beauty follow one another from Capo Teulada to Pula. Don't miss Tuerredda, a turquoise and blue cove in front of which stands an islet rich in lush Mediterranean scrub. The beach of Santa Margherita di Pula enchants with its white sand and romantic lagoon, framed by high mountains. Finally, in the center of the Gulf of Angels is Cagliari, the capital of the island, a city of artistic beauties that chase each other through the streets of the historic districts. Cagliari is good food, art galleries, shopping and nature, a synthesis of what is most beautiful about this part of Sardinia
