Palazzo Gaspari boasts ancient origins, dating back to the 14th century, with traces of Roman constructions from the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. Located near the Church of San Fermo Maggiore, the palazzo was inhabited in the 17th century by Giacomo Gaspari, from whom it takes its name. Over the centuries, it has undergone numerous alterations, adapting to the needs of various historical periods.
During the restoration work between 2017 and 2024, original structures were discovered and preserved, including a 15th-century tower house. These interventions have made it possible to recover valuable architectural elements, such as wall frescoes and stone structures, contributing to the preservation of the building's historical charm.
Located in an exceptionally central position, just a few steps from the Arena of Verona, this historic palace is a gem of the city's heritage. Its prime location allows guests to fully enjoy the cultural and artistic wonders that Verona has to offer.
The palace provides immediate access to major points of interest and services. Its proximity to the Arena, renowned for world-famous events and concerts, makes this residence the perfect choice for experiencing the unique vibrancy at the heart of Verona.
The architectural restoration project was overseen by SCR Studio from Verona, specializing in renovations under the supervision of the Monument Supervisory Authority. The restoration involved both the external and internal facades, returning them to their original splendor. The interiors were redesigned to create modern apartments equipped with all thermal and acoustic comforts.
The facades on Stradone San Fermo and Via Malenza were reinforced and restored, preserving their historical aesthetic. The interventions included the recovery of original decorative elements and the use of traditional materials such as lime-based plaster and native woods, to maintain the authenticity of the palace.
