The area saw its expansion at the beginning of the late Middle Ages; the farmers settling on the plateau above the Bisenzio Valley cultivated the land until the 1950s, keeping the place uncontaminated.
The courtyard has been rebuilt with care and a romantic spirit over the course of many years, resulting in a gem that is unmatched in the area. In the cottage, expertly cared for, marble fireplaces and original old majolica stoves alternate harmoniously.
The villa consists of a large kitchen, a dining room, six bedrooms, a living room with terrace and three bathrooms for a total of approx. 600sqm; everything is heated by a modern wood-burning system. The property includes an oven and two stables.
