With an amazing one thousand hectares of magical Venice Lagoon, this exceptional 18th century valle sits immersed in unspoilt nature and the unique tranquillity of calm waters, central to which is this beautiful hunting and fishing lodge with characteristic Venetian villa of the early twentieth century and outbuildings.
From the rooftop iconic Belvedere terrace it is possible to admire the bell tower of San Marco and those of Burano and Torcello as well as enjoy a limitless open view of the Venetian Lagoon and the more than ten million square meters of the property, with the charming natural eco-system of salt marshes in all its uniqueness.
From the beautiful altana roof terrace you can also survey the adjoining buildings of the property, from the more rustic residence to traditional shelters for the lagoon boats, and outbuildings for use as warehouses and storage.
The charming main house is characterised on the ground floor by a welcoming reception hall, a large bright living room with typical Venetian fireplace, a further smaller room with fireplace, formal dining room and sitting room, kitchen and storage room, while on the upper floors it offers ten bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The rustic fishing house, on the other hand, retains a more essential Venetian architecture but nevertheless still offers a functional living area with fireplace, further rooms, bathrooms, and several utility and study/pantry rooms for the management of fish farming and the valley in general.
Functional annexes for boat shelter and the logistical needs of fishing and lagoon activities complete the estate buildings and are grouped together in this most picturesque part of the property.
In addition to being a wonderful wildlife observatory of the most beautiful species of birds and ducks imaginable, it is an excellent environment for extensive organic farming with only natural feeding to obtain exceptional fish quality. In addition, the alternation of high and low water levels permits fresh water from the sea to flush the basins of the most intact inner zone of the lagoon making it suitable for the nurture of many precious fish species. The optimal flow and exchange of water within it are regulated, at different times of the year and according to need, by a system of controllable floodgates. This is therefore a property of the highest naturalistic and ecological value
The property is well connected to the services of the mainland, the nearby airport, the Lido and the historic center of Venice only 45 minutes away by boat.
A unique and very beautiful place to be enjoyed and protected for the future
