Suggestive feudal village dating back to 1793 with a farmhouse of approx. 3,000, large internal courtyard and chapel, to be restored. The property, with a land of about 162 hectares, was donated in 1801 to Baron Gaetano Barresi by King Ferdinand IV of Naples and III of Sicily, who in 1816 assumed the name of Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies. The current owners are still in possession of the precious original document written by hand and signed by the King. Of the 162 hectares there are 90 cultivable: currently 40 are cultivated with wheat and the remainder, characterized by splendid expanses of olive trees, are destined for pasture. A feasibility study was also carried out for an almond grove, for whose cultivation the land is particularly suitable. The property has its own water from boreholes, for an average continuous flow rate of about 15 liters per second. There is also a tank with a capacity of about 1 million liters of water. From the highest part of the property the sea is visible, and furthermore the terminal part is located in the reserve and pre-reserve area of the "Cavagrande del Cassibile" and is crossed by the river. This extraordinary territory is known as the Grand Canyon of Sicily and is part of an itinerary highly appreciated by international tourism. Also thanks to its proximity to Noto and its baroque wonders, Il feudo could become a luxurious private residence or a refined eco-friendly hotel.
