Historic villa in the Florentine countryside, just 7 km from all services and 20 minutes from south Florence, built around a medieval defense tower due to its dominant position over the valley; the rest of the structure, like the façade overlooking the courtyard paved in original stone and the rustications around the entrance door and the windows, suggest a late Renaissance imprint; present in the Leopoldino historical cadastre, the property was renovated between 2014 and 2018.

The restoration has completely preserved the real soul of the property and guarantees an atmosphere where time seems to have stopped. The characteristics that could be maintained during the restoration have been treated and preserved with great respect and attention (such as the stone flooring, the chestnut wood windows, some doors, the tower, the cellar, the ceiling beams, the vaults of bricks, stone walls, the large fireplace), enriching everything with an artistic touch: from the furniture and the definition of the spaces make the villa truly unique.

Comfort and large spaces are the essence of the property which is spread over three levels.

In the basement we find the warehouse and the cellar; here there is also a bedroom and a living area with kitchen that can become completely independent with access to the delightful loggia with a view; on the ground floor there are the living room, the dining room, as well as a study and a large kitchen divided on two levels, the part of the kitchenette and the dining area in front of the historic fireplace, with hand-made terracotta flooring; on the same floor there are three bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms overlooking the valley. From the kitchen one can go up to the tower where we find a large hallway, a bedroom with bathroom and private access to the loggia from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley and the Italian garden.

The systems are all up to standard and the underfloor heating is with wood throughout the property; there are solar panels for hot water, to reduce operating costs. At the entrance to the garden there is a tank registered in the Leopoldine land registry, very presumably prior to the 19th century, which now houses the statue of one of the animals that symbolize the Tuscan hills: the pig.

The view from the villa sweeps across the Arno valley, from Reggello to Vallombrosa.

The villa is surrounded by over 5 ha of land, currently partly wooded and partly uncultivated with some fruit trees such as cherries and apple trees. Two springs insist on the property, it is a place rich in water; today there is an above ground wooden swimming
