Historic farmhouse surrounded by nature

Immersed in the characteristic Ragusa countryside, near Chiaramonte Gulfi, is this ancient farmhouse whose construction dates back to the second half of the 1800s. Divided into many buildings which appear as a small village around a central beam paved with pebbles and flagstones of white stone. The main body of the complex is spread over two elevations: on the ground floor we find the ancient kitchens with stone vaults, the stables, an ancient private church and a small museum with grindstone and time press; upstairs we find the residential unit with pitch stone floors, built-in kitchen with wood-burning oven and a small votive chapel with original frescoes; the rooms are all distributed in succession maintaining the typical characteristics of Sicilian noble houses. The secondary bodies house ancient stables, warehouses and the caretaker's lodging. All this is spread over land of 11 HA used as a certified organic olive grove. A small garden with pine forest and orchard enhances the property.
