On the hills of Matraia, in one of the most exclusive areas of the Lucca area, there is this beautiful renovated stone farmhouse which enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view over the plain of Lucca.
The building, classified as "historic", seems to have originated in the 15th century; in the past it was the farm that gave the oil to the wealthy Guinigi family of Lucca, who spent the summer in the Villa just below the Casale.
The property enjoys a land of about four hectares, with 700 olive trees in production that give excellent Tuscan IGP olive oil and 1500 square meters of vineyard. The farmhouse is made up of two residential units of about 420 m2 attached to each other but with independent entrances. The ground floor is characterized by the wonderful stone cellars of about 280 square meters used as a wine-making room and gym. An external stone staircase leads to the panoramic loggia which leads to the main property where we find several living rooms, kitchen, dining room and has a total of seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The property has undergone an important renovation, the typical elements of Tuscan country residences have been maintained and materials such as terracotta, wooden beams and stone have been used, but with the addition of modern comforts such as air conditioning, heating with pellet boiler self-cleaning with one month autonomy, consumption class A2. The property includes a splendid 30 m2 swimming pool with adjacent solarium area, surrounded by greenery and with a panoramic view.
