As a renowned Italian fashion designer, Nino Cerruti has left an indelible mark on the luxury industry. A giant among Italian entrepreneur, he is known for creating iconic designs using innovative fabrics like wool crepe, which has become a signature of his brand. He also boasts an inventive portfolio of accomplishments, having pioneered men’s ready-to-wear fashion and the invention of casual chic and gender fluid wear. In the 1960s, Cerruti crossed paths with Giorgio Armani, hiring him as a creator of men’s fashion, together making a profound mark on the world of fashion before Armani branched out on his own. Cerruti's foray into luxury branding began in the 1970s when he launched his first perfume line. His brand, Cerruti 1881, has since expanded to include a range of luxury goods, including watches, leather goods, and eyewear. Cerruti has forged a name for himself across Hollywood, designing costumes for blockbusters like Pretty Woman, American Psycho, and Air Force One, and clothing A-listers during the 80s and 90s, such as the likes of Sharon Stone, Anthony Hopkins, Roman Polanski, Michael Douglas, Jack Nicholson, and more. In 1994, Cerruti made waves in the Formula 1 motorsport as the official designer of Ferrari, with designs worn by seven-time World Champion, Michael Shumacher. Today, Cerruti is considered one of the most influential fashion designers of his generation and continues to inspire a new generation of designers.
After many years spent abroad, she came back to Italy, to her homeland, the hills of Monferrato. Dynamic, curious and cosmopolitan, before graduating in History, Culture and Oriental Art at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Bologna, she spent two years in Australia and South East Asia, relating with different cultures. After graduating, thanks to a EU project, she moved to Berlin, where she lived for almost ten years, first collaborating with artists as a curator of art exhibitions and events, then becoming business partner of an art gallery in the neighbourhood of Mitte, the hub of the Berlin art scene. In particular, she focused on PR management and promoting artists at an international level. Her passion for art made her become interested in spaces and architecture, from 'content' to 'container'; she entered the world of Real Estate, finding the perfect combination in Sotheby's history and philosophy. She became a real estate agent, merging in this activity her artistic knowledge and her international background. she speaks fluent Italian, English and German.
