Historic hotel in the Centre of Orvieto, just a few meters from the town centre and the main streets. Built in the late 19th century, it was renovated over the years, the most recent renovation was about 30 years ago. It is spread over about 1500 sqm and it is divided into 37 rooms with spacious common areas and a convenient private parking.
The L-shaped building develops between two central roads and enjoys an outdoor area which offers private parking spaces for 12 cars and 8 motorbikes, which is certainly a great added value. This Hotel is spread over four levels above ground plus a basement floor, the latter particularly suitable for making an exclusive spa area as it is dug in the typical tufo stone of the area. The presence of two access points then, would make the hotel's wellness area suited both to internal customers and the external public. All the floors are served by an elevator in addition to the original historical stairway, made with stone and cast iron, perfectly preserved. The rooms, all with private bathroom and air conditioning, offer a total of 80 beds. On the ground floor there's the Hotel's entrance, with an elegant reception, breakfast room, bar, tv room, relaxation room, a beautiful reception hall with frescos and a stage for events, an industrial kitchen with pantry, services and offices.
On the first, second and third floor there are different bedrooms, some of which have a nice balcony, and another conference room.
The building has retained much of the original structural characteristics and boasts traditional finishing such as marble floors and antique hand-decorated ceramics, coffered ceilings and vaults.
Excellent potential for investment and development of existing activities.
